Gammon Seminary offers all enrolled students Financial Aid assistance. Constituent Fees are paid for all United Methodist Students attending The Interdenominational Theological Center, which Gammon is a constituent seminary.
United Methodist students enrolled full-time, taking a minimum of twelve (12) hours or more will also receive $1,200.00 ($600.00 per semester) for tuition and fees. Students living in the Willis J. King Apartment Complex will receive a 33% Rent Subsidy for housing. A meal plan will be provided for male students living in the dormitory.
Students who wish to receive financial assistance must complete the FREE APPLICATION FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) FORM, and mail directly to its office in the envelope provided in the application. This application can be requested from

A. Federal Work Study Program - The rate of pay varies but is at least equal to the minimum wages set forth in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
B. William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program - Loan funds for this program area received directly from the U.S. Department of Education to assist eligible students in financing their seminary education.
C. Federal Perkins Loan - This program is funded by the Federal Government. There are deferments and cancellation advantages with this program.
D. United Methodist Student Loan and Scholarship Program - Various scholarships are available through The United Methodist Church. Most applicants will need to be certified candidates in the ordination process to apply for the majority of the scholarships. Please contact Ms. Madelyn C. E. United Negro College Fund Assistance - Every student who has completed the FAFSA and has a 2.50 GPA is eligible to receive this assistance. Recipients are selected by UNCF from a submitted list twice a year.
F. Personal Financial Assistance Research - There are many scholarship dollars unused because the giving hands and the asking hands fail to touch. Therefore the Office of Financial Services at The ITC has established a Resource Center equipped with financial aid directories and information. Students are encouraged to utilize the Resource Center and also information from the libraries to secure additional grants, loans, and scholarships. The directories may be checked out on Friday after 4:30 pm and returned on Monday by 8:00 am.
G. Payment Plan - A student can also pay for his/her theological education through the use of The ITC sponsored payment plan. This plans allows a student who is taking at least six (6) credit hours to pay for his/her educational expenses in installments. The program plan is applicable for first and second semesters only. The cost to utilize the plan is $30.00 per semester.
